Our Story
Maesasa Coffee is a locally owned Papua New Guinea coffee supplier based in Kainantu, Eastern Highlands Province. We promote high-quality Highlands coffee while supporting smallholder farmers and local communities.
Our beans are sourced from the Obura-Wonenara District, Kainantu District, and Okapa District - regions renowned for producing some of Papua New Guinea's finest organic coffee, grown at high altitude in rich, tropical fertile soil.

Getting the best from Maesasa starts with the right technique.
Start with fresh, cold water. Water quality directly impacts the final flavour - use filtered water where possible.
Grind fresh before each brew. Grind just before brewing to capture the full aromatic profile of the beans.
Pre-warm your cup or vessel. Rinse with hot water before brewing to maintain optimal temperature.
Experiment with ratios. Our guide is a starting point - adjust to suit your palate.
